Bosch's With You [2006] Defamiliarisation

Recorded live in the studio session, Defamiliarisation gives a good idea of how the BWY’s cosmic experimental post-rock sound evolves. Dima T. Pilot (guitar), A.B. (guitar), Bubble (bass), and Bad_C (drums) were brought together to create an hour-long hypnotic improvisational suite with live music that includes some of more or less familiar melodic lines from the previous albums, bends these in quartet’s will, and swings about pure instrumental magical blend. The sequencing underscores the band’s mastery of dynamics. It easy grows from a reflective guitar ambience to subtly quiet and spellbinding downtempo passages, which burst out shimmering with dense and dissonant wall of psychedelic sound. The album works so well that it could be praised as the best BOSCH'S WITH YOU work to date. Raw and gentle, angry and calm, this is epic instrumental guitar-laiden rock.
